Thursday Apr 27th I got up early and went out to check out more of the bike and the rest of Laughlin, Larry and Joe got up later and went to check out the hookers at breakfast. (But that is their story) We had a Vegas style all you can eat breakfast, got all the shirts and patches we wanted and decided to head home. Looking at the weather channel there was snow around Denver so we decide to head south on I40 then come back up I25 to Pikes Peek.
Left the motel at Laughlin at 1:30 pm.
We were running 80-85 mph Fuel stops On about the 3rd fuel run across the desert,
I seen something out of the corner of my eye, jumping over the guardrail, it got right in front of me them stopped, then back up out of my way, it was like it was alive, it was just a tumble weed, but
It was enough to scare the hell out of you at 85. We continued to Albuquerque, then headed up I25
Larry was getting low on gas, but I didn't see any station near the interstate, finally he was so low we just took and exit that said it had gas, we got on this old road and went and went and went,
Final about 15-mile back off the Interstate was a little gas station. In the middle of nowhere, (nowhere New Mexico). We headed north on this little road and finally found I25 again. It was getting dark so we stopped for the night at Las Vegas, NM we got a 2 room 3 bed "sweet" for $20.

And headed over to a redneck joint call Joe's Ring Side Inn.

It was Thursday (you know the pool league night.) I got their specialty a Smoked rock pizza,
Joe got just a rock pizza, when the waitress came she could tell the difference and mine we 30% more, so I made here charge Joe the same as me, it was only fair, Larry pissed her off and he got terrible service. We spent quit a while talking to her listening to her story about the old couple who were going the Las Vegas NV on I40 seen the sigh for Las Vegas and turn up I25 and were real pissed when they couldn't find the casinos in Las Vegas NM
End of 4th day 69347 miles ridden 634 But we didn't start the bikes till 1:30 pm.
I never gambled a cent, so I broke even in Laughlin. (Better than I usually do in Vegas.)
