Eric Miller

Born and raised in Los Angeles.

Have grown up with classic cars since junior high school.  My father was very much into Packards.  He bought his first Packard in 1978 and has bought several more over the years.  I grown up going to many car shows along with doing all the cleaning and  maintenance that goes along with them.

I have attended numerous annual meets and tours for many years including Hershey for over 20.  I have gone to Pebble Beach many times along with attending a various auctions each year such as Barrett Jackson and Auburn.

I belong to a number of associations such as AACA, CCCA, PI, PAC for many years and have participated in some of the events each club has to offer.  I subscribe to too many auto related publications….about 15 or more!

I purchased my first Packard in 1987.  It was a 37 120 CC.  The following year I purchased a 56 Caribbean.  They both were long restorations whereas the Caribbean is still getting a few final touchups today.  I also own a few other mid 50s Packards.  I am shying away, however, from doing show car/trailer queen restorations…too much work and expense.  The two 56 Packards I am restoring now are drivers only.

I think it is important to capture the younger crowd as they will be the ones to continue propelling the hobby forward.  We have to start looking at the trends and attractions and make some adjustments to cater those tastes.
